Just Go With It

( Movie review )

Rated: 18
Genre: Romance comedy
Running Time: 1 Hour 59 Minutes

Director: Dennis Dugan
Cast: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston

“In Just Go With It, a plastic surgeon, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant’s kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.” -Sony Pictures

Verdict: Overused plot and yet still entertaining, thanks to the brilliant on-screen chemistry between the two veteran leads, Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston. Not quite sure why the aggregated rating on Rotten Tomotoes is so low, but I really did enjoy it. The conversational humours are quite hilarious.

Favourite scenes: Every scene that involves Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) in bikini. (SPOILER BEGINS HERE) The guy she meets on the plane at the end is her real life husband, Andy Roddick, who’s a real professional tennis player (SPOILER ENDS HERE).

Which girl would I have gone for? I believe in reality, any normal man would’ve preferred Palmer, any time any where no matter how or what.

Rating: 3 / 5

Date(s) for the show: Melissa, Sherry & Eunice.

Their verdict: “Very funny!”
