Took me one whole night and day to digest what I’ve seen and went through at Bersih 2.0. It was indeed a powerful and life-changing experience for me. You may read all about it on my previous post. This was what REALLY happened in KL. The truth from me which they wouldn’t be able to hide unless they block this link completely.
As expected, the government and the police are denying every wrong doing that they have committed at Bersih. It’s disgusting to see how they twisted the facts on the domestic mainstream medias that they control. Not only did they not reveal all the solid visual evidence that became viral on the internet, but they also edited some photos to make it seem like the protesters were attacking the police force. Almost any normal person could notice that that these images are fake.
Oh come on already. There were thousands of witnesses, including myself. Not to mention about the videos and pictures are circulating on the social media.
Let me recap a little on what I saw with my very own eyes… THEY DID FIRE WATER CANNON AND TEAR GAS CANISTERS INTO THE COMPOUND OF TUNG SHIN HOSPITAL; THEY DID ATTACK DEMONSTRATORS WHO WERE MERELY SITTING ON THE GROUND AND THEY DID ARREST MANY PEOPLE WITHOUT A REASON. They even said they were only using minimal force to make us disperse. Man, they fuckin’ trapped us on Jalan Pudu and began firing from both ends of the street. That was one of the two reasons why we were forced to seek refuge at the hospital. The other reason was the heavy rain.
Agong was expecting Pak A. Samad Said at the palace to accept the Bersih petition but the police had orders to not allow him to go through nor to help pass the petition to Agong.
So what does this tell you? A lot, doesn’t it?
Our Prime Minister, Najib Razak, said that 5, 000 were a small amount. I can assure everyone that there were easily at least twice that amount (of people who participated in the demonstration). But even if there was only 5, 000, how could he say that it’s only a small amount. They were still people and they were Malaysians. Not to mention about the hundreds abroad who had their own Bersih demonstration.
