UFC Fight Night 31: Tim Kennedy’s KO win delights US army

UFC Fight for the Troops - Tim Kennedy thanking the US army

Just a quick one here since there wasn’t any real high profile fights in this event. And the fighters were fighting for the milarity that fights for their country, not mine so… anyway, hope they raised plenty of funds to help those severely injured and affected soldiers.

At the end of the first round, Tim Kennedy landed a powerful, clean far-ranged left hook to his Brazilian opponent Rafael Natal‘s chin, dropping him before feeding him with unnecessary followups (referee Herb Dean‘s came in a bit slow). Oh by the way, the US army veteran is right handed. Looking forward to see him going further and hopefully contending for the middleweight title (ha-ha…).

The co-main event was a women’s bantamweight bout with Alexis Davis getting her second straight win in the UFC but she didn’t finish and sustained quite a bad cut above her left eye. I dunno about you but I much prefer watching an actual cat fight between two dumb sluts than two skilled and tactical female MMA fighters like Davis and her opponent of the night Liz Camouche.
