Anime film K Missing Kings returns to Malaysian screens for general release after successful world premiere

Thanks to all those hardcore K fans who bought all the tickets for the one-day world premiere of the anime’s featured film K Missing Kings held earlier this month, and those who missed it and requested for additional screenings, it’s got the green light from GSC Movies for a general release on 17 July 2014. That means it will be shown at the following Golden Screen Cinemas for at least 2 weeks depending on how huge the demand still is by that time:

K Missing Kings anime malaysia release gsc– GSC Mid Valley
– GSC Pavilion KL
– GSC 1 Utama
– GSC Gurney Plaza
– GSC Setia City Mall
– GSC Aeon Bandaraya Melaka
– GSC East Coast Mall Kuantan
– GSC City ONE Megamall Kuching
– GSC Suria Sabah Mall

It will also be showing at GSC Palm Mall Seremban when the cinema opens.

I didn’t get to catch it during the world premiere, but not like I’d know how to appreciate it anyway. I had no idea this anime existed until recently ha-ha. They should bring titles from my era, like Doraemon, which will be releasing a new 3-D featured film entitled Stand By Me this coming August. A very good Dragon Ball Z featured film (Battle of Gods) was released last year but sadly, no local distributor brought it to Malaysian big screens. I guess the older generation market is smaller, sigh.

Anyway, please follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+ for more updates.
