Li-Ning Malaysia awards winners of String & Win contest with a total of RM16,000

In conjunction with the semi-fnals of the Kopiko Purple League: Champions Challenge that was happening in Genting Highlands on Sunday (8 Feb.), Li-Ning held a prize-giving ceremony to award the winners of their String and Win Contest, a campaign that was held 3 months where Li-Ning fans and readers of participating media were to come up with a creative slogan and answer quizzes about the new Li-Ning Badminton String series.

Picking the Grand Prize winner of RM10,000 didn’t seem like a difficult task for Li-Ning as there was one participant who took the initiative and extra effort to create a cake-like sculpture to be submitted along with the entry form, and her name was Syarifah Radziah Bt. Syed Khairuddin. It wasn’t necessary but it proved to be most rewarding. I bet this story would be inspiring for all the other “compers” who use the typical poem approach for all slogan contests. Anyway, congrats to her.

2 first runner-ups and 4 second runner-ups received RM1,000 and RM500 respectively. Besides the cash prize, all winners were also treated with an all-expense paid trip to Genting Highlands to catch the Kopiko Purple League live. Of course, the media was there as well and all the action in the Arena of Stars was set up to be pretty up close to the spectators, which would’ve been very cool if I was a hardcore badminton fan.
