3-day Korean Film Festival offers 5 Korean movies to be screened for free

Yes, there’s no error there. All five titles in the upcoming Korean Film Festival 2017 in Malaysia will be screened for free at GSC Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur from October 26th till 28th. Organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the Festival aims to not only showcase and promote Korean cinematic experience, but also spread the culture and tradition of Korea to Malaysians.

The five titles lined up for the Festival are award-winning films from the year 2013 and 2014 — The Suspect starring lead actor Gong Yoo (Train to Busan) in an action-packed thriller; The Fatal Encounter that tells the historical story of the real-life assassination attempt on King Jeong-jo; the crime thriller A Hard Day follows a series of unfortunate events of a detective’s day; My Brilliant Life which depicts a heart-warming story of a child with progeria; and lastly, a romantic comedy My Love, My Bride which illustrates the life of a newlywed couple.
