Indefinite Hiatus

Hello there. Tony here. Hope y’all are doing just fine 🙂

As the title suggests, I’d like to officially inform you that this blog will be inactive for an indefinite period of time.

Life happened and I’ve decided take all of my time to focus on rectifying it. Also, one of the most important reasons why I continued to blog is no longer with me. As some of you may know, I don’t make any money out of blogging. Not enough, at least. So without all the other reasons, there’s really no point for me to continue.

Quitting this blog may just be one of the things I need to truly move on from and so there’s a big chance I may never return. Even if I do decide to “blog” again, it’s more likely I’d be making videos on YouTube instead. It is now a video and “influencer”/KOL era. Sad to say, “bloggers” and blogging are almost already a thing of the past in Malaysia.

Anyway, it’s been a fun and eye-opening 11 years. I want to wholeheartedly thank all my loyal readers (if there’s still any left) for your very kind support even though I’ve never ever been a great blogger. And also to all the companies and brands that’ve kept inviting me to their events and stuff. Particularly Warner Bros. Pictures, GSC and TGV. Last but not least, thank you, blogosphere for giving me that former “important reason”.

I love you. Take care and I wish you’ll have an awesome life. This is Tony Teh of now signing off.

    Hi Tony

I am one of your regular readers (since the very beginning) and immensely enjoyed all your movie reviews. I particularly liked the simplicity and your attention to details ie censorship.

I totally understand that you need to take long break indefinitely due to unavoidable circumstances but please consider to continue doing the reviews in the future.

In the meantime, please take good care of yourself and I hope you find your life balance back. God bless

    Best regards

      Hey Arnand,

Talking about movies (especially when they’re either exceptionally great or just extremely bad haha) is like a passion of mine that will never die. But at the moment, it still feels unlikely that I’d return. Even if I do, it won’t be as frequent or committed as before.

For now I’d probably still tweet about movies and series I’ve seen recently – @toninkush.

Anyway, thank you so much for your kind support all these 11 years. Your comment here means a lot to me as it reassures me that I hadn’t been reviewing movies here for no one 🙂
